Screening of Documentary Film of Living Legend Pianist: Bertha Hope in 'Seeking Hope' & Live Performance of New Music by Mimi Jones 'The Black Madonna at BRONX MUSIC HERITAGE CENTER LAB

The Bronx Music Heritage Center, happily sponsors this "Bronx-ite" studded event featuring,

pianist, composer & living legend, Bertha Hope and bassist/film maker Mimi Jones display a documentary in the making inspired by the life of Bertha Hope. 

This screening will be accompanied by a Q & A session, looking further into the interesting life of Ms. Hope &

the experience of making the film. (7pm-8pm)

This film will be followed by a 50 minute live performance, of new music by Mimi Jones' latest project "The Black Madonna",

featuring: Mimi Jones, Sean Harkness(guitars), Rajiv Javaweera (drums) (8pm-9pm)
